17. Commitment to good conduct and alms-resort,
18. a livelihood that is pure and blameless,
19. and stilling the mind—

21. An impressive deportment
    in things that should be done,
22. and in those better avoided;
23. commitment to the higher mind—

25. Wilderness lodgings,
26. remote and quiet,
27. fit for use by a sage—

29. Ethics, learning,
30. investigation of teachings in line with the truth,
31. and penetration of the truths—

41. A sage should abandon craving,
